Chapter 2.2 - Trials and Tribulations
Quinn: You know sometimes it really is pretty awesome being a teen! I mean, I can set up pranks and booby traps around the house all day but no one would ever expect it to be me, because I am suppose to be old enough to know better!
Quinn: I also haven't been doing too badly with the ladies either! I still have Rhonda in my sights and I do invite her over occasionally but I don't want to seem too forward with her you know? She is a sweet chick and all but I don't think I'm quite ready for things to get too serious yet, so a bit of flirting and holding hands is as far as I am letting things go for now.
Keisha: Yeah Quinn may approve of this Chicky but it doesn't mean I will! Sure I have pretty high standards for my brother, because I know no one will ever be good enough for him, but I just knew this chick couldn't cut it. So as soon as Quinn turned his back I slapped her around a bit to try and scare her off.
Keisha: But then she did something I did not expect....She Apologised!? Hell yeah I was confused, I mean, I slapped her across the face and she is apologising to me?! I actually felt a little bad for slapping her across the face for no reason and I decided that she may actually be a half decent chick after all.
Quinn: I also had the pleasure of meeting Keisha's new fling the other day, and I must say that male werewolves are much harder to get along with than female werewolves. Yeah I must admit I'm not too keen on the guy especially when he tears up the furniture and invades my personal space, but if Keisha likes him than I am happy to tolerate him for now.
Keisha: Despite what Quinn thinks, what I have with Gerad is much more than a fling! We have a real connection you know. In fact, the other day we even kissed for the first time! It's true love, I know it!
Keisha: After that first kiss we could not stay away from each other. We may not be going steady yet but we sure do act like it, as we have already been on three dates together! Ahh he is just so perfect isn't he?
Keisha: Then, on what seemed to be another average evening, a repeat of the most terrifying night of my life began to unfold as the kitchen caught on fire because someone was stupid enough to cook in the oven! That is one huge no no in our house filled with talentless cooks!
Keisha: As soon as the kitchen broke out in flames, what else was I to do but run out of the house in terror to save myself from death! De Ja Vu Anyone?!
Quinn: As usual, mum comes in to save the day as the rest of us freak out around the fire, but the flames were too much for her this time and before she could begin to put out the flames, she quickly became engulfed in them!
Quinn: We all felt so helpless seeing mum struggling in the flames, we did not know what to do until luckily, the fire brigade showed up just in time to put out the flames and save mum's life! She was pretty badly singed but thankfully she was OK!
Quinn: You know how I mentioned my amazing ability to pull pranks without getting caught? Well eventually my pranking finally caught up with me when mum caught me setting a whoopee cushion on the couch, so mum made me stand in time out right next to the front door as guests arrived for the birthday of Tessa and Sebastian. How Embarrassing!
Keisha: It was a pretty sweet little party mum put on for the little twins, and in true Fantasia fashion everyone was asked to dress in formal wear!
Keisha: Tessa has aged up to be quite the little cutie, and her fairy ears are even more prominent than mine! So Jealous! She is a pretty unique character this girl. Her unique hairstyle really accentuates her Insane side I think. She can be a lot of fun as she is pretty Excitable but at the same time she isn't much help around the house because she is also a couch potato and a heavy sleeper.
Quinn: My little Bro Sebastian sure isn't too little anymore! I'm sure he will have plenty of girls chasing him around the school yard. Damn you and your boyish good looks! Anyways he is a good kid really. Unlike his sister he is a light sleeper. He is also a bit shy, a virtuoso and a vehicle enthusiast!
Quinn: They both have a bit of ambition behind them too. Tess wants to become a Forensic Specialist in law enforcement whilst Sebastian is keen to hit it big time as a singer!
Quinn: Just as Tessa and Sebastian were blowing their candles out, a bit of drama was unfolding behind the crowd whilst everyone was distracted. Apparently uncle Tristan was kissed by another woman at the party and his daughter Charlene saw the whole thing! I would imagine she wasn't too impressed!
Keisha: Eventually Esmeralda rocked up late to the party, and what is the first thing she does? She surprised Tristan with a bunch of flowers! I was trying real hard to hold my tongue at that moment! I sure as hell don't want to be caught in the middle of that mess!
K: Oh aren't those flowers lovely! Haven't you got a great wife there Tristan? You are so luck to have her!
Keisha: Tristan didn't hang around for long after that, he must have got the guilt's, but then could you believe, if there wasn't enough drama that night, Dad had to come in and create some more! After Tristan left, Dad started flirting with Esmeralda and she was flirting back! All us kids saw the whole thing and we are not impressed! Sure some would say it is just a bit of flirting but we all know that mum would have been heart broken if she saw this!
Keisha: Now that the twins were a bit older, it was only appropriate to get the family together for a photo, as Quinn and I knew it wouldn't be long before we would be branching out on our own. You may notice that Dad missed out on this photo op and unbeknownst to mum, yes it was kinda deliberate.
Quinn: Then only a short while later, it soon became time for the awesome twins (yes I do mean myself and Keisha) to have a kick ass birthday party to celebrate our entry into adulthood!
Quinn: I must say I am pretty cuffed with how I have turned out! To add to my other stunning qualities, I have also developed a love for animals, so you can say I am an Animal Lover!
Keisha: Then it was my turn to blow out the candles, and obviously everyone looked far more excited once it was my turn to step up to the cake!
Keisha: I am now a pretty foxy lady if I can say so myself! With my older and now wiser look on life, I have now developed a love of the outdoors, so you will surely be seeing me out and about a lot!
Keisha: Now it's time for this party to really get started! And by party I really mean life! Obviously! Anyway, as soon as Quinn and I became adults, it is tradition for the family home to get handed over to us. Yay us!
Quinn: Yes that is pretty awesome, but with that, the rest of the family had to move out. We sure will miss having them around but it will be great to have more room to spread our wings and fly! And by fly I mean get some more Independence ya know? So get ready as we tear up this town and carve our own paths of awesomeness and success in life!
