Chapter 2.5 - To Fight for Love

Quinn: I know it hadn't been long since I had see Quiana, but I was excited to meet her out on a romantic evening date at the local park, however as she approached me at the park, I could sense that something was not right. She marched towards me, glaring at me with dagger eyes. I soon realised I was in big trouble!



Quiana: Who the hell is Rhonda huh?! People around town say you are in love with her! How dare you make me fall in love with you when you are in love with another woman? You have made me out to be such a fool, when everyone around town seems to know about you and Rhonda except for me! I can't believe I was such a fool to fall in love with you!

Quinn: Quianna lashed out at me in a fit of rage and before I could say anything, she stormed off crying and upset! I could not believe I had hurt her so badly. If only she gave me the chance, I would have told her that my heart is hers and things between Rhona and I ended as soon as Quianna walked into my life.

I know that Quianna is the woman I want to be with, and I know it is going to be hard work to win her back, but she is worth it. I called her many times to invite her over but she would not answer my calls so I made it my mission to visit her at her house every day until she would agree to take me back.

Quinn: The following day, I visited her house for the first time, and to my surprise I found out she was pregnant! Now that I know that she is the mother of my child, I just knew I had to do everything in my power to convince her to love me again.

Quinn: Like I said, it wasn't going to be easy. The first day I showed up at her house, no matter how hard I tried, she would not give me a chance to explain myself as she continued to yell at me and insult me, so I just stood back and let her unleash all of her anger onto me.

Quiana: Yes, I am pregnant with your child! Now you probably expect me to raise this child by myself whilst you go off romancing Rhonda! You no good, two for nothing....

Keisha: Whilst Quinn got himself stuck in a real mess, I was deliberately getting myself into one. Late one afternoon after work, I casually wondered into the local bar where I happened to find Gerad and his wife spending a casual afternoon together. I marched right through to the bar and grabbed myself a drink. I watched on as Gerad gave me a perplexed look. I think he was trying to figure out the best way to handle this situation, as I am sure he figured I was bound to cause trouble!

Keisha: As I chugged down my alcoholic beverage, I soon realised that Gerad's new wife was pregnant! Well that doesn't make my meddling any fun! I decided that it was best not to stir the pot when Gerad has a new baby on the way, so instead of flirtatious banter, I opted for a casual chat instead. I could still feel his wife's eyes staring me down as I socialised with her husband.

Quinn: After Quiana's awful reaction to me visiting her the last time, I was a little apprehensive to visit her again, but I knew it had to be done. I was pleased to find that this time she was more open to talk. This time, she wanted answers and I finally got the opportunity to explain myself!

Quinn: I am so sorry that I hurt you, but this is all a big misunderstanding. I don't love Rhonda, I love you and I want to be with you! Yes I was in love with Rhonda once but everything changed when I met you. You are the love of my life and the mother of my unborn child! Can you please forgive me?

Quiana: Oh that is a relief! Yes I forgive you but I still feel very hurt and upset. I think it is best if we start from scratch and take it slow. If we are meant to be together, time and patience is all we need to know if we are on the right path, lets not force it.

Quinn: Thankfully she reacted well to my apology and I was more than happy with her response. So for now we are just two friends, and I am happy to take things slow until I have regained her trust in me.

Quinn: The following day when I came to visit Quiana, it was taking a long time for her to answer the door, until I suddenly realised that she was going into labor! She was about to give birth!

Quinn: I quickly raced inside to find that Quiana had given birth to a beautiful baby boy named Sammie! Sammie is a good boy and he is friendly! As soon as I saw him,  I could not wait to hold him in my arms! I can't believe I have a son!

Quinn: Quiana could see the excitement in my eyes as I held our son in my arms and she asked me something that I was not expecting.

Quiana: Take him Quinn, I know it is the right thing for you to have him. I know that you have always wanted children and I know that you will make a great father, so I want our little Sammie to go home with you.

Quinn: I could not believe she asked me to have custody of our son! She knew how much it meant to me to have a son, but it just didn't seem right that little Sammie would be raised by only one parent. Now more than ever I was determined to win over Quiana's heart, and after that unbelievable gesture, I know that her love for me is still there.

Keisha: As soon as I heard that Quinn was bringing his new son home, I could not wait to hold the little guy! I am so excited for Quinn now that he has become a dad, and I look forward to seeing the little tyke grow up! Hopefully I wont be too bad of an influence for him!

Quinn: After having a day at home alone with Sammie, it just felt right to invite Quiana to come over and spend some time with Sammie and with me. We soon got talking and I noticed that the glimmer in her eye that she had when we first met had returned.

Quinn: As we stood there looking at each other, all I wanted to do was hold her. I put Sammie back in his crib and when I returned, I did not hesitate to embrace her in an amorous hug! In that moment, it just felt right to share a long and passionate kiss, and just like that we were like two love birds once again!

Quinn: Everything was perfect, the moment seemed right, so right then and there I lent down on one knee and proposed to the love of my life, and the mother of my child, Quianna Mcghee.

Quiana you are the most precious thing in the world to me. I know things have been tough between us but I know we are meant to be together, which is why I would like to ask you to be my wife.

Quinn: Thankfully she said yes! I am officially the luckiest man in the world right now! I have a beautiful and perfect wife and and a bouncing baby boy. I can't believe I now have a family of my own!

Quinn: Before we get into wedding celebrations, I had to throw a bucks party with some of the guys to commemorate this big moment in my life. Not to mention, it is also a great excuse to fool around and have a few too many drinks!

Quinn: It sure was an epic night! The whole bucks party is a bit of a blur. There are definite gaps in my memory thanks to the copious amounts of alcohol we consumed, but I do know I ended up in my underwear for some reason and I woke up the next day soaking wet, smelling of alcohol!

Quinn: I also have a vague memory of rolling around on the floor with one of my werewolf buddies, rubbing his belly like a dog! Oh boy I was drunk alright!

Quinn: Oh we had a female dancer too! she sure captured the attention of all the guys as soon as she showed up!

Quinn: Oh yeah that's right! I managed to convince my make Dirk to make out with the dancer! Amazingly she was totally into it and I could tell the other guys were kinda jealous!

Quinn: Towards the end of the night, I distinctly remember that the dancer girl started glowing a bright yellow?! I guess she must have eaten a jelly bean from the magic bush I just bought! Oh well, she didn't seem to mind too much. After she was done entertaining us guys, she actually spend the rest of the night entertaining the dog.

Kinta: After I rocked up home from work, the bucks party was still in full swing and I was ready to join the party. Especially with so many good looking guys hanging around the house. So obviously the first thing I did was slip into my bathing suit and head towards the spa, and I knew that would encourage many of the guys to follow. In fact I was getting so much attention from the guys, Gerad, who was also at the bucks party, was actually getting jealous!

Kinta: Luck for Quinn and myself, this bucks bash also happend to fall on the same day as our birthday, so I guess the night ended up doubling up as a birthday party also! Quinn and I are now real adults! Quinn has already grown up fast with a new baby and a soon to be wife. I guess I better get my act together and grow up too!
