Chapter 1.3 - Looking for Love and finding zombies!

With each day passing, Fantasia and Esmarelda soon start longing for some love and affection. With a new house and careers on track, they now need to fill that hole in their hearts by finding someone special to love.

Fantasia: Even tho I am happy with the life I am making for myself, I still long to find the love of my life, my prince charming, and now more than ever, I feel I need to find a man to spend the rest of my life with! So today when I headed to the park, I had a mission in mind, I didn't want to just meet a friend, I wanted to meet someone that could be more than friends! That is when I came across two room mates named John Black and Esteban Everheart. I approached John first who was a werewolf as his housemate laid plastered on the floor after a failed landing on the trampoline.

Fantasia: A Werewolf and a Vampire! They both seemed like nice fellows. To be honest I was surprised at myself that John Black caught my attention considering my previous grievances with werewolves. As I approached them, I couldn't decide which one of them I should try a pick up line on first until all of a sudden, Estiban approached his housemate and surprised him with a bunch of flowers! Oh great, that would be just my luck to find out that both of them were gay!

Fantasia: Despite this, I did no hesitate to have a chat to them both. I ended up in deep conversation with John Black where I soon found out that the typical outlandish behaviour of werewolves could not be helped and was actually a symptom of the condition they have I guess. Then right in the middle of the conversation, John reverted back to his primal state as he lunged at me with claws out and a loud growl. I must say he gave me quite a fright!

Fantasia: The only way I could deal with such a reaction is to pull out a rolled up news paper and give him a few smacks across the head like a misbehaving canine. Surprisingly, this tactic quickly snapped him out of his crazed state and he was fine again, ready to act like a normal and orderly gentlemen.

Fantasia: Now that I truly understand Werewolves and how they are, I feel much more sympathetic and compassionate towards them, especially towards John. So much so that I figured it would not hurt to try a pick up line on him despite witnessing the affection shared by his male housemate, and to my surprise John accepted my affectionate words willingly! I guess he bats for both teams, I can work with that!

Fantasia: After getting to know John, I started a conversation with Estiban who also began to take my fancy, so I figured I might as well try a pick up line on Estiban also. Luckily for me my flirtiness with Estiban was also well received! Well at least now I know I have some options!

Fantasia: I spent rest of the afternoon and evening socialising at the park with these two fellows. John and I even shared some play time together on the sea saw.

Esmarelda: Fantasia is way behind in this flirting game, little does she know I have been playing this game since the first day I arrived in this new town. I took another trip to the test track to work on my broom stick skills when I met an intriguing human by the name of Matt Lundy. It turns out we have compatible star signs and to be honest, he is the first human I have been able to hold a conversation with longer than 5 minutes!

Esmarelda: Later that evening at the test track as I was socialising with more of the towns people, I began to have a conversation with an overweight redneck fairy when at the corner of my eye I noticed a strange man just standing there...staring at us....I was so absorbed in the conversation, I did not even acknowledge the strange man before he walked away...

E: Why do I smell rotting flesh??

Esmarelda: After I took my broom for another ride around the test track, I began to hear strange noises coming from behind me followed by a bright blue glow...

Esmarelda: I turned around and to my surprise I found a Zombie, slowly meandering towards me with a limp stare, a deep groan and a gaping mouth!

Esmarelda: To be honest, I was absolutely stoked to finally come across a Zombie! We certainly didn't get any of these back home! The Zombie came towards me groaning and really, I found the creature to be quite hilarious! I could not help but mock her and have a laugh at her expense!

Esmarelda: The next morning, the novelty of these Zombies wore off pretty quickly! They were surrounding the house and I was almost engulfed by them when I went outside to get the mail! These Zombie freaks are really starting to shit me off!! No wonder people have been saying this is a dump of a town to live in...

Fantasia: I also had  my first encounter with these Zombie creatures that morning also as I awoke from my fairy house. I must admit I was not scared of them at all, unlike my first meeting with a werewolf. I find these Zombies to be far less terrifying and maybe slightly entertaining, that is when they are not loitering on our lawn!

Esmarelda: Later that morning, I got word that there was a talent show on at performance park, so before work I headed down there to see what it was all about, and up there on stage performing a romantic ballad was a Zombie! The very same Zombie that was mulling around our lawn this morning!

Esmarelda: To say that I was shocked to see a Zombie up there on stage performing would be an understatement! I had no idea these useless creatures had any talent let alone adequate use of their of their own limbs and bodily functions!

Fantasia: After I clocked off, I decided to head down to performance park and take a look for myself! When I arrived there was a very talented acrobat performing by the name of Michael Balnestreet.

Fantasia: Whilst I was there, I found out that my dear friend Bill Misfit was actually a proprietor for the stage performers. No wonder I always found him sitting alone in performance park! As I was socialising with everyone watching the show, I could not help but notice Bill watching me from the corner of his eye, especially when I was speaking with other men!

Fantasia: As the show ended and the sun started to set, I made an effort to talk to the stage performer Matt Lundy. He was such a gentlemen! He soon produced me with a bunch of flowers and began to shower me with compliments! I was very flattered! Who knows? Maybe this man is the love I have been looking for?

Fantasia: Matt was so talented and so charming, I could hardly believe such a man could be interested in me? I thought I might be starting to fall for him until he dropped a bombshell! He was already married!! I guess he just turned out to be the typical schmoozing, travelling showman who probably has a different woman in every town!

Fantasia: Luckily Bill was there watching over me and ready to turn to when I needed him. I am so lucky to have Bill as a friend, he is such a good man! It is only now that I start to wonder if he might actually like me more than a friend??

Fantasia: Oh by the way! I almost forgot to mention, Zombies may love Brains but they also seem to really enjoy sharing a good midnight pic nick with werewolves and acrobats under a full moon!
